

Call Parking Call parking allows you to put your caller on hold, then enable another person in your organisation using their HUD to retrieve that call. If you cannot see any conference room available or cannot drag another contact in the conference room, let your phone admin person that you require this permission so you can join meetings in the conference rooms. IMPORTANT: This feature is permission-based. If you are in an active call then join a conference call, the active call will also be dropped into the conference room. You can add contacts into the conference room by simply clicking and holding the contact s block in HUD, then dragging and dropping them into the respective conference room. Alternatively, you should see who s already in the meeting room which indicates the meeting may have already begun. If you are joining someone else s conference, confirm which room number you should join. To join a conference, simply click Join in the conference room number that you wish to join. To open the conference module, click on View, then choose Conferences. People can still call your extension or send you a chat message even though you ve set your status to Away.Ħ Conferences Your Trixbox phone system includes a conference facility that allows you to connect multiple people into one call. NOTE: Your HUD status doesn t change your phone status, but simply allow others to see your availability.

To change your status, click on the drop-down option and choose your status that you want everyone to see. Setting your HUD Status Your HUD Status is used to show internal contacts that also uses HUD your current availability. Transfer to Voic or Mobile You can transfer a call to mobile or voic by dragging the active call to the respective icons of the contact in their contact block in HUD. Once the person is happy to take the call, click and hold the call from the hold area then drag it to the contact block you wish to transfer the call to. Active Call Desired extension Active Transfer (Speak to the receiver first before transferring the call) To make an active transfer simply put the active call on hold (see putting a call on hold ) then make a call to the person you wish to transfer the call to. 4 Transferring a call Blind Transfer (transfer without speaking to the receiver) Click and drag an active call to the contact block of the person you wish to transfer the call to.
